Terms of Use
The Creator Vocabulary. Effective October 11, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of The Creator Vocabulary (“TCV”, “the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
TCV is an educational reference tool for creators — a searchable library of creative terms, gear, techniques, settings, workflows, and guides, with an optional paid tier (“TCV Pro”) that adds CC (an AI creative companion), deeper explanations, and organization tools. TCV is provided for general informational and educational purposes and is not professional advice.
2. CC, the AI creative companion
- CC is AI, not a person. CC’s answers are generated by an artificial intelligence model. They can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, even when they sound confident.
- Check before you rely on it. CC is a learning and planning aid. It is not professional, safety, electrical, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for decisions you make on a job, including anything involving rigging, power, heights, vehicles, drones, permits, contracts, or other people’s safety.
- What you send. You keep ownership of what you type into CC. You give us permission to store it and to send it to our AI provider so CC can answer, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don’t send sensitive personal information or anything you don’t have the right to share.
- What CC writes. You may use CC’s answers in your own creative and professional work. Because of how AI works, answers may not be unique, and other people may receive similar ones.
- Limits. CC is part of TCV Pro and has daily usage limits so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. We may change those limits, the AI model behind CC, or CC’s features over time, and we may pause CC for maintenance.
- Reporting. If CC gives an answer that is wrong, inappropriate, or unsafe, use the Report button under it. We review every report.
- Don’t misuse it. Don’t use CC to break the law, to harass or harm anyone, to create sexual content involving minors or any content that exploits them, to produce malware or instructions meant to cause serious harm, to get around its safeguards, or to run automated or bulk requests through it. We may suspend access to CC or your account if you do.
3. Your account
You must be 13 or older to create an account or use CC. If you are under 18, you may use TCV only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases. We ask for your date of birth at sign‑up; giving a false date is a violation of these Terms.
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and that you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
4. TCV Pro subscriptions & purchases
- TCV Pro is offered as an auto‑renewing subscription (monthly or annual).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto‑renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the then‑current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period remains active until it ends.
- Lifetime access, where previously purchased, is a one‑time, non‑recurring purchase that unlocks Pro on your account. Existing lifetime purchases remain fully honored.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region and over time. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store’s policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, or create a competing product from the app’s content in bulk, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
6. Content & intellectual property
The app, its design, and its library content are owned by LOVEMYVICES and are protected by intellectual‑property laws. We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the app for your own creative work. Notes, collections, and the messages you send to CC are yours; you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display them to you as part of providing the service.
7. Disclaimers
The app and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work to keep the reference accurate and useful, we do not warrant that it — or anything CC generates — is complete, current, or error‑free, and it should not be relied upon as professional advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TCV and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
10. Changes
We may update the app and these Terms over time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules.
